AEA Challenger Pro 29.5''

This AEA Challenger Pro 29.5’’ PCP rifle is an upgraded version of the regular Challenger SL. The wood stock is substituted for an adjustable stock made of aluminium and impact-resistant synthetic material, which allows for more control over your shooting posture. The rifle has an ergonomically designed pistol-style grip with pre-moulded finger grooves, so you can hold the Challenger firmly yet comfortably. The side lever has a smooth pull and the safety is located on the right side of the frame, right above the trigger. This placement and the ease of use allow for tactile operation of the rifle, without ever having to take your eyes off the target. The action uses a pin probe, which allows for maximum airflow.

The AEA Challenger Pro 29.5’’ has no sights of its own, but it instead uses a two-part Weaver/Picatinny scope rail. That scope rail can be used to mount a rifle scope onto the air rifle that fits its accurate range. The 29.5’’ (750 mm) barrel comes equipped with a barrel shroud and uses the tensioned barrel system. This means the barrel has an exceptional stiffness, which results in less vibrations during a shot and greatly increases accuracy. The barrel shroud is kept in place with an end cap that’s screwed onto the M14 thread at the end of the barrel. You could still choose to mount a moderator onto the barrel by using a thread adapter.

This AEA Challenger Pro 29.5’’ uses a regulated system, which ensures consistent shot power for as long as the cylinder pressure is sufficient. The PCP cylinder has a capacity of 350 cc and a maximum fill pressure of 250 bar/3600 PSI. It’s mounted right below the barrel shroud and it has two pressure gauges. One of those is used for checking the remaining fill pressure in the PCP cylinder and the other is used for gauging the regulator pressure. The PCP rifle is available in several calibres and they each have their own magazine capacity. You’ll find a brief overview below:
• 5.5 mm / .22 – capacity of 12
• 6.35 mm / .25 – capacity of 10
• 7.62 mm / .30 – capacity of 9
• 9 mm / .35 – capacity of 8

The stock can be folded, so you can transport and store the slightly easier. It features an elevation adjustable cheek rest, so you can line your eyes up perfectly with a rifle scope. Additionally, the butt stock comes equipped with an extendable monopod. There’s a short Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail on the bottom of the AEA Challenger Pro 29.5’’ rifle’s fore-end, which can be used to mount it onto a shooting stick or to mount a bipod onto it. Using a bipod and the monopod at the same time will allow you to create a rather stable set-up for the air rifle, which will definitely have a positive impact on its accuracy.
